AT THE TIME IT WAS THE MOST SUBVERSIVE THING I COULD THINK OF DOING

I am really very happy with the title of my first post. Why? Because if anyone should ask why I started HIWAS I can merely point them to the first line of the first post. This should alleviate my anxiety over responding to the six or seven persons who might actually ask. I am also equally happy with the title of my first post because it also happens to be true. You see, I am a big believer in the American way. In particular, a BIG believer in the First Amendment. Particularly that part about free speech. And so with the recent Citizens United case, I decided to do my best to see that if corporations (who are not people at all. Sorry, but they are not.) feel like spending their shareholders' dollars on influencing national politics, they are going to have to get around well, me. But not JUST me. YOU and YOU and YOU TOO and all of us who have an opportunity, nay an obligation to make our views known for in our individuality we will find ourselves united in a common cause. The defeat of the special interest groups. Because they DO NOT represent ME or YOU. They don't even pretend to. Nor should they. Because this is America. And so, if a headless, hand-less, heartless, soulless ENTITY created from the twisted sovereignty of the STATES can apparently fend for itself and influence a FEDERAL election, why can 't I? Or you? or, dare I say it, WE? Yes, it is possible for WE THE PEOPLE who have heads and hands and hearts and souls and friends and families and jobs to join together and fend for OUR interests as CITIZENS of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Unlike a corporation, YOU have a BRAIN so think! YOU have a MOUTH so and speak your mind! YOU have HANDS, so write what you wish to share. YOU have a HEART so be mindful of the effect your comments might have on others and lastly, YOU have a SOUL, so use your power wisely. Because I, YOU, WE  have the power to influence elections and make ALL our lives better. And so I choose to speak and YOU should too. So, I think it fair to ask, anyone care to comment?
